BALANCE Dual-Phase Toner

As step two of the system, BALANCE Dual-Phase Toner helps reduce the appearance of pores and blemishes, may help against future breakouts, and provides all-day shine control for a more flawless complexion. This formula restores the skin after cleansing, so you can get the appearance of a brighter, detoxified, and more clarified complexion after two weeks.

Key Ingredients

• Noni extract - this ingredient supports a healthy microbiome, reduces excess sebum on the surface of the skin, and minimizes the appearance of blemishes. Native to the Southeast Asia and Australia, noni is noted for being able to survive in harsh environments and is one of the first plants to colonize lava-ridden areas. This extract can interact with the skin's microbiome, effectively acting on the dysbiosis to perfect the skin's appearance. It targets the common microbiota imbalances associated with blemish-prone skin. It also decreases the relative production of S. aureus and P. acnes, while also maintaining the favorable skin microbiota S. epidermidis.
• Ocean minerals - delivers immediate glow to the skin and help minimize the appearance of pores in only 15 minutes. Our minerals are from sea water sourced from a deep marine lake off the Atlantic Coast, located in Noirmoutier, France - an island known for its salt marshes and salt banks. This sea water flows through different geological layers within the island, making it rich in manganese, zinc, iron, and lithium. These minerals promote clarity and luminosity and reduces dullness after two weeks of use. These ocean minerals have a soothing and remineralizing effect, bringing more magnesium, potassium, and sodium to the skin.
• Pseudoalteronomonas ferment extract - produced via fermentation, this extract immediately reduces excess shine and provides an eight-hour mattifying effect on the skin. This sustainable marine extract is isolated from the glacial environment of the Antarctic Ocean. Over time, it works to reduce sebum accumulation, improving the overall appearance of oily and combination skin.
• Ethically sourced bentonite clay - this ingredient absorbs excess oil and impurities without stripping skin of excess moisture, leaving it matte and healthy looking. Before shaking the toner, you will see the bentonite settle to the bottom of the bottle, creating a dual-phase formula.
• Malachite extract - this semiprecious stone has a high copper content and is rich in antioxidants that help protect the skin from environmental stressors and premature aging. It also gives the toner its blue color.

This formula is also gentle enough for everyday use, relying on oil-balancing and mattifying ingredients to control shine for clearer-looking skin.

Key Ingredients

• Oat kernel extract - this ingredient improves the overall appearance of the skin's complexion and reduces the appearance of blemishes and redness for healthy-looking radiant skin.
• Noni stem cells - extracted from noni fruit, this ingredient supports a healthy skin microbiome and reduces excess sebum on the surface of the skin to help minimize the appearance of blemishes.
• Bacillus ferment - this ingredient has been shown to help minimize the appearance of skin imperfections and support the skin's microbiome, leaving skin looking beautiful. The ferment is isolated from clay sourced following sustainable practices near Aiguamolls de l'Emporda, a natural park in Spain. It soothes the skin and supports the skin's microbiome by reducing P. acnes (Propionibacterium acnes) biofilm formation and porphyrins, which are metabolic products of P. acnes that can become lodged in pores, creating blemishes.
• Marrubium vulgare - obtained via cell culture of horehound, this extract has been clinically proven to reduce the appearance of blackheads, give skin a smooth and even-feeling texture, improve skin smoothness and softness, and combat against the damaging effects of pollution and blue light, providing a healthy-looking, radiant complexion. In nature, horehound spontaneously grows in temperate areas of Europe, America, and Asia and has a history of use in Ancient Rome and Arabic folk traditions. It is a flowering plant in the Lamiaceae family, which includes mint and white nettle, and is rich in beneficial phenylpropanoids that play a vital role in plant development by acting as an essential component of cell walls, giving this product soothing and protecting properties.
• Rise starch (Oryza sativa) - this ingredient keeps skin shine free by absorbing excess sebum on the surface without stripping it of moisture.

• Yes, BALANCE Cleanser is the exact same formula as Orange Blossom Facial Wash. It has simply been rebranded for inclusion in the BALANCE Skin Care Collection.

• BALANCE Skincare is gender neutral and intended for any customer with normal/combination to oily skin, blemish-prone, or unbalanced skin. Although Young Living upholds the highest standards for safety, we do not test our products on participate under the age of 18. Please speak with a health care provider to determine if this product will meet your child's specific needs.

• BALANCE Cleanser is vegetarian friendly and all the ingredients are non-GMO, but it is not vegan due to the use of xantham gum.
• BALANCE Dual-Phase Toner and Mattifying Lotion are vegetarian and vegan friendly and non-GMO.

• BALANCE Cleanser contains citric acid, levulinic acid, coco-glucoside, and glyceryl oleate may be derived from non GMO corn.
• BLANCE Dual-Phase Toner contains alcohol denat., propanediol, and citric acid may be derived from corn. These ingredients are non-GMO.
• BALANCE Mattifying Lotion contains citric acid is derived from non-GMO corn.

• BALANCE Cleanser contains glycerin, decyl glucoside, glyceryl caprylate, coco-glucoside, and glyceryl oleate that may be derived from RSPO palm and/or coconut.
• Balance Dual-Phase Toner contains glycerin that may be derived from palm and/or coconut.
• BALANCE Mattifying Lotion contains glycerine, capric/capric triglyceride, and cetearyl alcohol may be derived from palm and/or coconut.

• There are no ingredients derived from tree nuts, soy, or gluten. However, it is possible that this product may be manufactured in a facility that uses tree nuts, soy, or gluten in other product formations. Though there may be tree nuts, soy, or gluten processed in the same facility, please rest assured that according to cGMPs (current good manufacturing practices), the machinery is cleansed and sanitized between productions to prevent contamination. If you have additional concerns, we encourage you to speak to your health care provider.

• No, BALANCE Cleanser is formulated using citrus levels that do not warrant a UV warning.
  

• BALANCE is formulated for normal/combination to oily skin. It is a gentle formulation that deep cleanse pores and reduces surface oils for balance-looking skin. BLOOM is formulated for normal combination to dry skin and as a brightening system. The ART system is formulated for all skin types to help fortify the skin's natural moisture barrier and protect against environmental aggressors.

• Yes. BALANCE Dual-Phase Toner has two phases that come together when the product is shaken and separates slowly over time. The two phases come from an alcohol phase and a water/bentonite clay phase. Due to the differences in density, the two phases will not mix unless the product is shaken. If the toner settles between uses, shake it before application.
