Happy New Year! 2020!

Wow. 2020!

Can you believe that it is another year?? Another decade?

A lot has happened in the past 10 years. It was just over 10 years ago that my husband and I met and we are getting ready to celebrate our 10 year anniversary this spring! One of the best decisions of my life!

My family moved from Montana to Oregon four years ago. We have loved being where it is warmer and closer to the ocean. We have done a lot of exploring of the redwoods and enjoying where we live, but there are still many many more places to explore!

I have a high schooler. How???? I cannot believe that in 3 years, she will graduate. I also have a first grader. Both girls are awesome and sweet and are huge blessings to us and bring light into a sometimes dark world.

It has been almost 8 years since I lost my dad. It was 8 years ago, just before Christmas, my parents went to Belize for Christmas and my dad never came home. I am a daddy's girl and I miss him terribly.

My mom joined my dad in heaven in Sept. 2019. It is still fresh and I know from losing my dad that the first year is surreal. We have not yet done a memorial or much regarding properties so the grieving will hit eventually but it has mostly come in small waves at this point.

I moved into private practice and have LOVED being my own boss! Creating my schedule and being able to offer my nutritional knowledge as a certified integrative mental health practitioner is a recent addition which I am thrilled about! It allows me to add in my love for health and nutrition and all my oils, which have been awesome for trauma work and emotional support! Man, have I enjoyed the benefits for myself as well as seeing how they benefit my clients!

My oily business has been on the back burner, but this year is THE year. I am more focused and committed to teaching about all the wonderful benefits of the oils and how to integrate them in the daily!

Let's see. I am sure there are other highlights from the past 10 years that I could focus on but those are the top ones that come to mind! Now, for the NEW YEAR....

I am excited for the new year. I am thankful for the growth that I have had in so many areas of my life. I am excited for the direction that I am taking and the continued goals that are in motion to continue in this new decade. (I am not big on resolutions....they seem to fade too quickly!) I often pick a word for the new year to focus on and this year is HEALTH. Health has a lot of variances- and will encompass many areas. Health of me- physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. It also will be the health of relationships. The health of my faith. The health of my business. Health.

My passion is health and wellness and this year, I hope to continue to reflect that in all that I do and be!

20/20 Vision

It is hard to believe that it is ALREADY DECEMBER!! How on EARTH did this happen?

As we move into a new year AND a new decade even, I am challenged by the idea of my word of the year. The word of the year is something that I have attempted to implement over the past 4 years. This word is usually a word that sits within my spirit as something I need to focus on. It could be that I need MORE of it, or something that I want to FOCUS on in that year. Many people pick words like "Joy" or "Patience" while others might have words like "Volunteer" or "Health" or "Family" and require a bit more reflection and intention that is specific for that person.

Sometimes this word comes easily and quickly while other times it requires a lot of thought, prayer and/or reflection to determine what to be intentional about. As I begin thinking about the new year, and looking at my VISION for what is ahead, I am challenged by the 7 principles of OOLA. These are areas of focus and it is a great way to help determine what is needing more attention and it helps with goal setting.

I do know that my health is a HUGE focus, as I am working on recovering from autoimmune issues and hope to return to my body-building lifestyle in the near future after taking a 3 year hiatus. I know family is super important, as this year I lost my mom and that emphasizes the importance of time and connection with those I hold dearest. My faith is something that is always growing and evolving, and requires some reconnecting in various ways to strengthen my spiritual walk. I have business goals and personal goals that I want to be working on in the new year. I have a number of goals so I need to be thoughtful about my direction and VISION for the upcoming year.

I am excited to challenge myself and see what the new year brings! Cheers to having 20/20 VISION in the New Year!

Meet Judith C. Labert

Hello! Welcome
Thanks so much for coming by!

I used to be a body builder and gym-nut- But the "perfect storm" of events ended up disrupting my physical, mental and emotional health, creating imbalanced hormones, weight gain and a loss of self. I have struggled with Chronic Fatigue and negative emotions, such as self-loathing. Through my own journey, coupled with my professional training, I have learned many tools like the power of using Conscious Language and have expanded my knowledge about how emotions and language impact the body, how our environment contributes to our health and the body's well being, and how mindset matters! As I have improved my health and regained my sense of self, I am now on a mission! In this world, with all the emotional (and physical!) pains, I commit myself to helping other's learn and grow to be better, healthier versions of themselves. I am always learning about how to live a plant based, non toxic, chemical free life so that we can live out best lives!!

As a professional, I am a licensed Mental Health/Art Therapist and Certified Life Coach. I work with a lot of folks who experience various degrees of trauma and anxiety. I value the amazing tools that I have learned-and continue to learn- that are effective in helping the clients I serve! I am an art therapist and I use aroma and apply a variety of integrative approaches in a holistic model with all my clients. I am a Christian practitioner and believe in the power of faith and in the capabilities of the amazing bodies we live in!

In my therapy practice, I specialize in trauma and addiction, as well as being a Registered Art Therapist. I work with kids of all ages, including adults! I Love using various products and techniques to support my system within my own health and wellness journey and am passionate about incorporating a holistic approach with my clients to better support them in their journey.

As a holistic practitioner, a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider and Certified Mental Wellness Coach, I often suggest a variety of product recommendations for my friends, family and clients.  This education provides another tool to help in my supporting you to Live Your Best Life...
I offer an intro health assessment to those looking for answers to help decide what is the best direction and fit for your needs. I am a Certified Aroma Freedom PractitionerCertified Emotion and Body Code Practitioner and a Certified Oola Life Coach and Mental Wellness Coach- so no matter what your struggle is, I have tools that can help you set goals, support wellness, build your faith and help you find purpose in your life!

Personally....
I am still healing (it is an on-going journey of health) but am thriving more each day that passes. I am now an International Best Selling Author, as some of my story was published in a book collaboration that was published October 2021! I am a mom of two girls and a wife, a fitness lover and beach explorer. I enjoy a variety of music and love road trips. I wear Chacos and tank tops every day possible! I grew up in Wyoming but love living in the milder climate of Southern Oregon. I lam happy in warm weather and at the beach. I support my husband in his Art and Automotive Restoration business and in his hobby of restoring a '57 Oldsmobile. We are looking forward to taking it on a cross country trip in it when it is complete! We both cherish family and enjoy sharing new experiences together.

I am excited for you to join me on this journey!
xoxo ~Judith
