LIFE HACK - You can easily transform these blends into roller recipes and sprays!
To make a 10 mL roller from any recipe - triple the number of drops to make a total of 35-45 total drops, add a carrier of choice (we love V-6 Vegetable Oil Complex) and you're good to go.

Keep your child going through the school day with this convenient felt pouch for their three favorite 5 mL oil bottles OR keep a 'car kit' handy in the car, backpacks etc. so you and your little ones have the oils you need when you need them! Here are a few we suggest:- Lavender for calming, Peppermint for focus, DiGize for belly needs

Parent Hack - use a half empty essential oil bottle and add a carrier to it to make a diluted version!
KidScents SleepyIze Oil BlendAdd SleepyIze to your diffuser to set the tone for bed. Make this a part of your daily bedtime routine to create a signal for your little ones to wind down.
Apply SleeyIze to the big toe, along the spine, and/or on the back of the neck to encourage restfulness. You can also drop it on pillowcases, pjs or stuffed animals.
Whip up a Bedtime Blues Linen Spray. To an 8 oz glass spray bottle, add:
- 20 drops each SleepyIze & Tangerine
- Fill with distilled water and invert to gently mix.
Spray onto linens, pjs, stuff animals, etc.
Make a Sweet Dreams Roller. To an empty 15 mL essential oil bottle with an AromaGlide Roller Fitment, add:

Make this Bedtime Bath Soak for a spa-inspired evening routine.
- 1/4 cup pink Himalayan salt
- 1/4 cup magnesium flakes
- 2 tbsp sweet almond oil
- 10 drops SleepyIze
- 10 drops Ylang Ylang or Orange
- dried lavender, rose buds, or eucalyptus leaves (optional)
Try this Wind Down Foot Scrub as a treat for tired feet before bed. Combine all ingredients in a metal or glass container, use in the shower to exfoliate & moisturize1
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup coconut oil
- 2 tbsp Vitamin E oil
- 1- drops SleepyIze
Thieves Spray- This convenient spray not only cleans any surface that it touches, it has a wonderful spicy sweet scent.
- Use Thieves Spray to disinfect shopping cart handles, restaurant menus, phones and e-readers, remotes, purses, airplane armrests, toilet seats, or any surface (including hands) as desired.
- Stash Thieves spray in lunchboxes, backpacks, purses, etc. to make cleaning hand convenient.
- Stash Thieves Waterless Hand Sanitizer in carseats, seat back pockets, cup holders or somewhere else that your kids can easily reach in the car.

Take a relaxing Epsom Salt bath with Kid Power. Add 20 drops to 1 cup Epsom Salt and soak in warm water.
Try this Back to School Sugar Scrub.
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup coconut oil
- 2 tbsp Vitamin E oil
- 15 drops Kid Power
- 10 drops Lavender
Combine all the ingredients in a metal or glass container, use in the shower to exfoliate & moisturize.
Make this DIY Whipped Body Butter recipe (great after using the sugar scrub listed above):
- 1/2 cup unrefined extra virgin coconut oil
- 1/2 cup shea butter
- 1/8 cup cocoa butter
- 1 tbsp Vitamin E oil
- 25 drops Kid Power
- 15 drops Lavender & Grapefruit
Step 1 - Melt together coconut oil, shea butter and coconut butter, then add in Vitamin E oil and whisk.
Step 2 - Refrigerate until almost half solidified, then use a mixer to whip for 1 to 2 minutes until a fluffy consistency is achieved.
Step 3 - Add in essential oils then place in a glass jar.
Diffuse this warm, happy oil all month long.
- Simmer Down - 5 drops Stress Away, 3 drops each Lavender & Kid Power
- Warm Hug - 4 drops each Kid Power, Ylang Ylang & Lavender
- Baking Cookies - 4 drops Kid Power, 3 drops each Cinnamon & Vanilla
- School Days - 4 drops Kid Power, 6 drops Thieves

The Heart Behind the Artisans
The One Purpose label came about as a collaborative effort between more than 20 women who are a part of the Mabira Collective in Uganda, with the final design created by Diana Laruni, an aspiring young Uganda artist. While many of these women experience poverty, lack of education, and abuse in their pasts, they have banded together with the unified purpose of providing a better life for their children. The design is a combination of beads representing their handmade jewelry craft, leaves and water representing the earth from which many of their materials are derived, and a circle representing their circle of women coming together with one purpose.
One of the Mabira artisans, Eve, used to live on the edge of subsistence and was only one setback away from having nothing. Sometimes she earned enough to provide one meal a day for her three children, but sometimes they went without. All of that changed when she joined Mabira Collective. She learned how to make beautiful jewelry and for the first time was paid what she deserved.
"I have three children who are my world," Eve says. "Before Mabira, I was only able to think about how I could find food for them each day. Now I look to the future and am working to own a home. Because of my hard work, my children have enough to eat and are enjoying going to school."
For each wholesale purchase of One Purpose, 35% is donated to The D. Gary Young, Young Living Foundation to support its efforts to protect and empower the world's youth. Citrus Fresh might be the best citrus oil around. It contains so many favorites - Grapefruit, Tangerine, Lemon and more. This oil is incredibly versatile and a household staple for sure.

Background
Citrus oils are cold-pressed from the rind of the corresponding fruit, making them alkaline and full of wonderful aroma and flavor. Because it is composed of citrus oils, Citrus Fresh is a great source of antioxidants and the constituent limonene, which has some wonderful health-supporting properties. This blend is also great for the respiratory and immune systems. Add it to your wellness roller and DIY chest rub, especially if you are out of other favorites.
Note: Citrus Fresh and Citrus Fresh Vitality are the same essential oil.
Citrus Fresh & Emotions
Citrus Fresh might be one of the most overlooked emotional support oils. Because this blend combines multiple citrus oils with a hint of mint, it is a great choice for stimulating the right side of the brain. When we are consumed with worry, stress or suffer from analysis paralysis, the right side of the brain is less active. Inhaling Citrus Fresh, getting calm and quiet, allowing the emotions and processing them can help us move out of that place of stickiness.
Also, because Citrus Fresh contains limonene, it has antioxidant properties. Antioxidants help neutralize free radicals in the body. Free radicals cause physical stress, and when we lower that physical stress burden, our emotional benefit as well.

- Orange essential oil
- Grapefruit essential oil
- Mandarin Orange essential oil
- Tangerine essential oil
- Lemon essential oil
- Spearmint essential oil
Key Constituents
Constituents are naturally occurring compounds in plants (and therefore essential oils) that give them specific health-supporting properties.
- Monoterpenes - help to support the respiratory system, are responsible for many immune system support properties of essential oils.
- Limonene - known for its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-stress support, this is a powerful constituent with many health benefits.
- Esters - a gentle constituent found in many essential oils, especially citrus oils, that helps to calm both the mind and body.

Daily Habits with Citrus Fresh
Note: Citrus Fresh, like other citrus oils, can cause skin sensitivity if applied before exposure to sunlight. Allow at lease 12-24 hours between use and direct exposure of the area to UV light.
Add a few drops onto cotton balls and stash them in drawers, in air vents, under garbage cans, and in shoes for a quick boost of freshness.
Apply generous drops to your pots and pans, grills, or any sticky, greasy grime.
Use in DIY cleaning recipes and add to Thieves Household Cleaner for a fresh boost.
Try this Laundry Scent Booster. To a glass jar with a lid, add:
- 1 cup epsom salt
- 1/2 cup fine sea salt
- 1/2 cup baking soda
- 30 drops Citrus Fresh essential oil blend
To use, add 2-3 tbsp directly to the laundry.
- 1 cup baking soda
- 1/2 cup fine sea salt
- 10 drops each Citrus Fresh & Purification (or 20 drops Citrus Fresh)
Step 1 - Add baking soda and salt to a jar, and mix well.
Step 2 - Add essential oils, stir, then place the top on the jar and shake well.
Step 3 (optional) - use a small knife or drill to make small holes in the top of the jar
Step 4 - Sprinkle onto carpets and let sit 10-15 minutes before vacuuming.
Apply a few drops of Citrus Fresh to surfaces to take off unwanted labels.
Add Citrus Fresh Vitality to enhance the flavor of your favorite beverages or foods.
Apply topically to reduce the appearance of blemishes.
Spot treat blemishes or oily spots on the skin with a roller of 15 drops Citrus Fresh and jojoba oil.
Use in DIY Sugar and Salt Scrubs for a fresh citrus burst.
Wear as a calming personal fragrance. Pair with Vanilla, Stress Away or more tangerine or Orange.
Daily Habits with Citrus Fresh Vitality

Shake well before use

School's out for the summer, but we aren't getting lax on our wellness routines! LIFE HACK - You can easily transform these blends into roller recipes and sprays!
To make a 10 mL roller from any recipe - triple the number of drops to make a total of 35-45 total drops, add a carrier of choice (we love V-6 Vegetable Oil Complex) and you're good to go.
To make a 2 oz spray from any recipe - double the number of drops to a total of about 25 drops, ad a splash of witch hazel and fill with filtered water. Spray on upholstered surfaces, bedding, rugs, anywhere you want to freshen!

- 1/2 cup unrefined extra virgin coconut oil
- 1/2 cup shea butter
- 1/8 cup cocoa butter
- 1 tbsp Vitamin E oil

Step 1 - Melt together coconut oil, shea butter and coconut butter, then add in Vitamin E oil and whisk.
Step 2 - Refrigerate until almost half solidified, then use a mixer to whip for 1 to 2 minutes until a fluffy consistency is achieved.
Step 3 - Add in essential oils then place in a glass jar.
Up your summer vibes with this DIY Mermaid Locks Spray. To a 4 oz spray bottle, add:
- 3 tbsp witch hazel
- 1 tsp hemp seed oil
- 5 drops each Stress Away & Grapefruit
- filtered or distilled water
Shake before use, and spritz then comb through to deeply nourish wet hair.

Citronella Essential OilCitronella is well know for its love of the outdoors (but not the outdoor annoyances!), but did you know that this lemony oil is also incredibly versatile? It's one of the main ingredients in the Purification oil blend, so anytime you'd use Purification, try Citronella. Citronella is cleansing and purifying, making it great for cleaning, gentle detoxing and clarifying. It is also a great addition to massage oil for supporting healthy circulation and the body's natural response to tension.
Summer often means lots of time in damp places. Give your feet a little daily TLC and protect them with this Happy Feet Blend. Make as a roller (use fractionated coconut oil or V-6 Vegetable Oil Complex as the carrier) or as a cream to apply after a day at the pool in a public shower.

- Young Living Bath and Shower Gel Base
- 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 40 drops Citronella

Add vinegar and essential oils to a large pump bottle, then add in the Bath & Shower Gel Base and mix well.
Alternatively, you can pour out some of the Bath & Shower Gel Base, then add the oils and vinegar directly to the bottle.
Give tired, sore muscles some love and support healthy circulation with citronella. It's also great for Charlie horses and supports the body's natural response to inflammation. You can use it on its own or make a simple Circulation Massage Oil to use every day or as desired.

Use Citronella to support healthy airways with this DIY Breathe Massage Oil. To a 4 oz pump bottle, add:

Use the cleansing power of Citronella in your cleaning routine. Add to your cleaning DIYs, Thieves Cleaner, etc. to kick the germs without the harsh chemicals. (Citronella is high in methyl isoeugenol, so its a great cleaning companion.)
Make this DIY Dishwasher & Washing Machine Cleaner that can be used of the washing machine or dishwasher. Mix powders together in an airtight glass jar, then mix in Citronella. Add 2 tbsp to the floor of your dishwasher and run on a hot cycle. You can also place 1 cup of white vinegar + 2 capfuls Thieves Household Cleaner in a glass bowl in the top rack to further disinfect. To use in a washing machine, add 4 tbsp of mixture into the drum of the machine and run a hot cycle. Option to add 2 capfuls of Thieves Household Cleaner to the detergent bay for extra cleaning.
- 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp citric acid
- 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp baking soda
- 3 tbsp washing soda
- 20 drops Citronella
Give hard water stains the boot and get sparkling clean dishes with this DIY Dish Detergent Booster. Mix well and store in an airtight jar.
- 1 cup citric acid
- 40 drops Citronella essential oil
Add 1-2 tsp to the dishwasher soap reservoir along with the soap and run according to manufacturer directions.
Deodorize and deep clean linens, towels, or clothing with DIY Laundry Stripping Solution.
- 1 cup baking soda
- 1 cup borax
- 1/2 cup Thieves Laundry Soap
- 1/3 cup Thieves Household Cleaner
- 30 drops Citronella
Add all ingredients to extremely hot water and allow linens or clothing to soak up to 2 hours. Stir the clothing and gently press to release dirt and grime every 20 minutes or so. You can soak longer for tougher situations as desired.
Wring the linens as dry as possible and wash per usual.
Place a few drops of Citronella on cotton balls and stash them anywhere that can use additional freshness: air vents, drawers, shoes, gym bags, rain boots, garbage cans, etc.
Drop directly into areas that need some refreshing - rain boots, forgotten laundry, diaper pails, etc.

- 1/2 cup Dead Sea Salt
- 20 drops Lemongrass
- 10 drops Tangerine or Lemon (optional)
Mix well. When ready to use, sprinkle over carpets and let sit for 10 minutes before vacuuming.
Make an Herbal Deodorizing Spray for pet beds, upholstered surfaces, car upholstery, etc. To a 4 oz glass spray bottle, add:
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 20 drops Citronella essential oil
- 15 drops Lavender essential oil
- 10 drops each Tangerine & Lemon essential oil
- Pinch of sea salt or a splash of witch hazel
- Fill with filtered water
Spray lightly onto surfaces to remove unwanted odors.

Background
Citrus aurantifolia, also known as Mexican or key lime, is a shrub-like evergreen tree native to tropical Southeast Asia. It produces smaller, mora aromatic fruit than the related Citrus xlatifolia, or Persian lime, which is more commonly available in the United States as a culinary fruit.
Lime essential oil is unique in that it is 100% bioflavonoid. Not only are bioflavonoids impressive in and of themselves, but they also help maximize the benefits of Vitamin C by inhibiting its breakdown in the body. This means that Lime essential oil not only supports the immune system, it also stimulates the detox pathways, helping to clear the body of toxins and unwanted waste. Lime also helps with the absorption of Vitamin C, make it a versatile oil and household staple.
Key Constituents
Constituents are naturally occurring compounds in plants (and therefore essential oils) that give them specific health-supporting properties.
- Limonene - known for its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-stress support, this is a powerful constituent with many health benefits
- Gamma-terpinene - a potent antioxidant, Chinese medicine believes that this constituent may halt the advance of unwelcome microbes, reducing the risk of colds and 'flu-like symptoms.'
- Beta-pinene - a powerful antioxidant, some studies have shown beta-pinene to support the body through inflammation, to help calm the mind and see the body from the 'fight or flight' response
Lime & Emotions
Lime, like other essential oil, is a wonderful tool for emotional support! Citrus oils evoke the sense of warm, sunny, carefree days which are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. One major reason for this is because citrus oils contain the constituent Limonene, a compound that is a potent free radical scavenger. Free radials cause oxidative stress and damage to the body at a cellular level, therefore affecting every body system. Less oxidative stress from free radicals is a key for less negative emotions.
Limonene is wonderful for boosting the mood and may increase the amount of calming neurotransmitter in the brain. When we are feeling worried, stressed or indecisive we have a difficult time accessing the right side of our brains, and citrus oils are a great tool! Citrus oils are stimulating to the right side of the brain and can help us work through these emotional blocks.
Emotionally, Lime is linked to feeling unmotivated. Apply a couple of drops of Lime over your lungs to help get some motivation going and promote feelings of clarity, harmony, motivation, and positivity.

- 1/2 cup uncooked rice
- 1/4 cup Epsom salt
- 1 cup dried lavender buds
- Muslin cotton drawstring pouches, approximately 5X4 inches
- 30 drops Lime
- 20 drops Lavender
Step 1 - In a medium bowl, mix rice, Epsom Salt, flower buds, and essential oils to thoroughly scent the mixture.
Step 2 - Play anywhere you want to add a fresh lavender scent.
Step 3 - Refresh your pouch every 2-3 weeks by opening it up and adding more drops of essential oil.
Mix Lime & Rosemary with magnesium flakes or Epsom Salt for a relaxing bath soak.

Remembering a beautiful, well-written story from childhood can be so therapeutic, and it is so fun to share with the little ones in our lives today. And a little whimsy to your day with these storybook and fairytale inspired rollers and sprays.
You can transform any of these recipes into a 10 mL roller blend or a 2 oz spray! if you want a larger spray bottle, simply double the amounts. To use the sprays, add the ingredients to a bottle, invert to mix and spray onto surfaces or skin as desired.

Orange essential oil has a sweet, bright aroma reminiscent of a blossoming orchard of orange trees. The scent is uplifting and just brings a smile to your face. It is the perfect addition to all your favorite diffuser combinations and DIYs.
Each month we focus on using an oil every day to help us in accomplishing our goals. Join us in choosing a method of application and simply getting this oil on and around you every day in May!

Orange essential oil is rich in limonene, making it supportive of the immune and circulatory systems as well as good for our bodies overall. Citrus oils are also know for stimulating creativity, so this is a great oil to diffuse while working, during homework, or during arts and crafts.
Start your day with a burst of liquid sunshine by diffusing Orange in the morning. Orange is delightful on its own, or you can combine it with complementary oils such as Grapefruit, Cinnamon, Neroli, and Patchouli. Orange Vitality essential oil has a sweet, citrusy flavor and provides digestive and immune support when taken internally.
Background & Sourcing
Originally native to Asia, orange trees are now cultivated around the world, including France, Germany, and the United States. An evergreen plant, mature orange trees can reach the height of 30 feet. Known as liquid sunshine, Orange essential oil has a sweet and uplifting aroma that brightens any room and cleanses the air when diffused.

Orange essential oil is an instant mood booster! This bright, happy oil is great for promoting an aroma of joy and creativity. Diffuse, apply, or add it to your favorite emotional support oils in a roller.
Citrus oils in general are wonderful for emotional support. Citrus oils contain Limonene, a potent free radical scavenger. When there is less physical oxidative stress in the body, then there are less negative emotions. Citrus oils also contain compounds that boost your mood by increasing calming neurotransmitters in the brain.

Daily Habits with Orange
Orange is one of our most used and versatile oils! Try some of these tips and DIYs below.
Add Orange to your skincare and beauty routine
- Add it to your nighttime skin care routine to help reduce the appearance of blemishes and smooth skin.
- Try this Rosemary Orange Hair Mask:
- 1/4 cup avocado oil
- 10 drops Rosemary
- 5 drops Orange
- 5 drops Cedarwood (optional) - great for growth
Mix well and apply on hair starting at the ends. Let sit for up to 10 minutes then shampoo and condition as normal.
- Refresh dried lips with this Orange Sugar Scrub:
- 2 tbsp organic sugar
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- 3 drops Orange or Orange Vitality
- 2 drops Grapefruit or Grapefruit Vitality or more Orange
Mix ingredients well then rub onto lips. Rise well and follow with Lavender Lip Balm as desired.
- Try this Unicorn Roller as a daily perfume with emotional support. To a 10 mL roller bottle, add:
- 15 drops each Orange, Joy, Stress Away, Grapefruit, Bergamot, & White Angelica
- Fill with a carrier of choice
- Add Orange to any of your favorite roller blends for an uplifting perfume. In a 10 mL bottle with carrier, add one of the following (or any you prefer):
- 20 drops each Joy, Orange, & Grapefruit
- 20 drops each Stress Away, Orange & Grapefruit
- 15 drops each Orange, Northern Lights Black Spruce, Grapefruit & 10 drops Geranium, Rose or Joy
- 15 drops each Rosemary, Orange, Lavender & Peppermint
Use Orange for Household DIYs
- Use to remove stickers on glass (without nasty chemicals!)
- Add 1-2 drops to your dishwasher for sparkling dishes.
- Diffuse Orange with Lime, Lemon, or Tangerine for a sunny, refreshing aroma.
- Add Orange to your home cleaning solutions for a boost of cleaning and odor-neutralizing power.
- Add Orange to wool dryer balls for a fresh scent (and ditch the dryer sheets!)
- Make a DIY Laundry Scent Boosterand ditch toxic laundry products. To a glass jar with a lid, add:
- 1 cup Epsom salt
- 1/2 cup fine sea salt
- 1/2 cup baking soda
- 30 drops Orange essential oil (or mix of desired oils)
To use, add 2-3 tablespoons directly to the laundry.
- Add Orange to your homemade cleaning products for an extra power (just don't apply directly to granite or marble).
- Add 15 drops Orange to diluted Thieves Household Cleaner for a daily spray.
- Add 10 drops each Pine & Orange to Thieves Household cleaner and dilute for a mop solution.
- Make your own DIY Kitchen and Bath Scrub. Mix 10 drops Orange oil + 1/4 cup baking soda + 1 tsp Thieves Household Cleaner. Add more baking soda to achieve the consistency you desire.
Add Orange Vitality to your food and drink
- Add a few drops of Orange Vitality to warm water and drink first thing in the morning before any other food or drink.
- Add a dew drops of Orange Vitality to your water and sip throughout the day.
- Toss raw greens (kale, arugula, or spinach) with olive oil and Orange Vitality.
- Add a few drops of Orange Vitality to your daily NingXia Red.
- Add 1-2 drops of Orange Vitality to a vegetarian gel capsule and take daily for immune and general wellness support.
- Add Orange Vitality to a smoothie or green drink to enjoy its citrus flavor and antioxidant properties.
- Use in place of orange zest in recipes.
- Add a few drops of oil to a batch of cookies or pound cake for a delicious twist.

Diffusing is a wonderful health habit! We have our diffuser going almost 24/7 and Orange is one of our favorites to add to the diffuser. Try out these fresh blends anytime of day or add Orange to pretty much any of your favorite blends.

Essential Oil Spotlight
Each month we focus on using an oil every day to help us in accomplishing our goals. This month, we will be focusing on a deep, woodsy oil know for its ability to calm and still our mind and focus our brain waves! Join us in choosing a method of application and simply getting this oil on and around you every day!
Vetiver is calming, grounding and stabilizing and can be a great tool to help us cope with stress, recover from emotional trauma, and handle frantic emotions. Vetiver is also wonderfully supportive of calming our brain waves from high frequency to lower frequency, making it a favorite for inviting in deep, restful sleep! This can be from a normal state down to a meditative or sleep frequency, or from a heightened frequency to one of focus.
When used topically, Vetiver can be helpful to support the body's response to inflammatory conditions. Because of this and its ability to support healthy circulation, vetiver has historically been used in topical arthritis preparations.

Daily Habits with Vetiver
- Diffuse at bedtime to promote sleep. Pairs well with Lavender, Frankincense, Cedarwood, Northern Lights Black Spruce.
- Diffuse with Peppermint and Cedarwood to support focus.
- Apply over the heart, wrists, and the back of the neck, bottom of the feet as needed.
- Make a topical rub with Vetiver, Frankincense, PanAway, Peppermint, Copaiba and/or other oils supportive of the joints/muscles. You can even add a dropperful of Nature's Ultra CBD.
- Make a FOCUS roller with Vetiver, Cedarwood, Peppermint, GeneYus and/or Clarity - about 1- drops each oil then top with a carrier.
- Remember to use Vetiver DAILY while taking deep breaths and repeating a positive or calming mantra - "I am safe, I will focus on what I can control."
NOTE: Vetiver is thick so either remove the plastic insert and use a dropper to apply OR hold the bottle in your hand to slightly warm the oil before use.

Insect Repellant LiquidEnjoy the outdoors without pesky pests. This insect repellant is a crowd favorite because it works, it's safe for the whole family (no DEET here) and it super convenient. It comes as a liquid and as wipes.
