The end of summer is approaching which means back to school or full swing back into those routines that may have been pushed to the side during the summer. This is also a time where many stock up on some of their personal favorites so I thought this would be a great time for me to share just a few of mine with you!

I don't know about you, but this mama doesn't have time to get sick and in the odd event that I do I need to bounce back quick! Here is a list of a few of my favs that not only help our wellness, but just get through the daily grinds.

I'll admit that cleaning isn't my favorite and pretty sure my husband would testify to that (ha ha), but the plant-based Thieves household cleaner allows for our littles to help since it is safe for all of us, even the pets. It's highly concentrated... meaning 1 capful of cleaner in a spray bottle + topped up with water and we are good to go. Talk about getting my monies worth! We use it on every surface in our home... even my steam mop and as a stain remover on clothes & couches (because toddlers with markers happens often).

To also make cleaning a little more simple without harsh, toxic ingredients (no thank you to all the side effects that could cause in our future), we also like the new Thieves sanitizing wipes. Bonus- they make your trash smell sooo good once you toss them. You can also throw these in your little's (big or small)  backpack as a better alternative to what they use to clean their desks with on a daily. We also add the Thieves hand sanitizer to our girls' bags and even our own so that we are minimizing those ickies, along with minimizing the amount of toxins we are exposed to.

And I guess cleaning wouldn't be complete if I didn't wash the never ending pile of dirty  laundry in our home. We only trust the Thieves laundry soap to get our clothes clean without harsh toxins that would otherwise reside in our clothing allll day long while wearing them. This detergent gives us 64 loads but since it is highly concentrated like most Young Living products I like to double ours. I just pour half of the laundry soap in a jar to save for later. Then I fill the remaining container of laundry detergent with 1 capful of the Thieves household cleaner & top with water. Simple as that!

Okay so last on the list of things that need to be cleaned in our home is our produce. Even organic produce can be subjected to 20 pesticides before it reaches your home. Plus no telling how many hands touched them or what they were exposed to. We use the Thieves fruit & veggie soak to do a quick 2 min soak on all our fresh produce before they hit our own fridge.

Now let's move on to my favorite supplements to help support us in our wellness because like I said before- this mama doesn't have time to get the ickies. My go-to supports include Life 9 ProbioticsSuper C supplementVitamin D supplement and Inner Defense supplement when I need to pull out the big guns. I'm not a doctor clearly... just a mama sharing my favs so you can click on each supplement and it will give you all the details on each.

And last but not least, these essential oils help us in sooo many ways but especially when our bodies need extra support. I don't like feeling like yuck, but I also feel like the man-ickies and child-ickies are way worse to deal with. (if you know, you know) Thieves essential oil, Lemon essential oil, Marjoram essential oil & Breathe Again essential oil are a few that we make sure we never run out of... kind of like all of us make sure we have either Ibuprofen or Tylenol in our cabinet at all times for those "just in case" moments.

We diffuse Thieves essential oil on a daily when ickies are going around in the community or in our home + put on the bottom of our feet when we want to help support our immune systems.

Lemon essential oil is what I put on the bottom of the girls' feet when they need help regulating their body temps and down the back of their spine for extra immune system support.

This past month we battled with RSV & I have never been more thankful for Marjoram essential oil in that time. The first time I ever tried this essential oil was when Raley had croupe at three years old and the Gentle Babies book by Debra Rayburn suggested the oil. I was surprised at how much it helped Raley, especially at night. I imagine that with RSV most parents and children have sleepless nights but thankfully that was not our case since we had some extra tools in our "wellness box".

And the last one I am going to share with you in Breathe Again essential oil. We used to be avid Vicks vapor rub users during those times when needed, as well as frequent Zyrtec users when those seasons hit but now we no longer have Vicks in our home. And the hubby only pulls out the Zyrtec for himself on rare occasions when his allergies get really bad. We're also working on figuring out what is targeting those extreme times. Instead we find turning to something with out toxins & long term side effects to help up during those time- insert Breathe Again essential oil.
