Top Six Oils for Love
Last weekend, I was doing a market stall at the Queensland Garden Expo, Nambour. A gentleman briefly passed by my stall and started reading my signs – ‘Oils for Dogs’; ‘Oils for Teachers’; ‘Oils for Men’… He inquired about where my sign titled ‘Oils for Love’ was. So, with gratitude to this fleeting conversation, I have created my top six oils for love.

  1. Joy™: An uplifting blend of ten pure essential oils that creates magnetic energy and brings happiness to the heart, inspiring romance and togetherness. This is the oil to start with to support self-love. We have to love ourselves first before we can love someone else. This is the oil I like to apply to the heart. This is a wonderful oil to diffuse in the home.
  2. Forgiveness™: This blend helps to release hurt feelings and negative emotions. By releasing negative memories, this can allow one to move past emotional barriers and attain higher awareness, assisting the person to forgive and let go. I like to apply Forgiveness in clockwise circles with the right hand around the navel.
  3. Clarity: This is the oil to promote a clarity of thoughts. I love to apply Clarity oil on the back of my neck. To fall in love, using Joy and Clarity can help us to be clear about who we are falling in love with. Clarity provides greater mental concentration and alertness, improvement of concentration, emotional balance, and to overcome mental fatigue. Clarity may help to overcome change and embrace learning on a new level, whether learning new things or processing new information, changing habitual patterns, or overcoming distraction or procrastination. Use this stimulating essential oil blend during prayer to help remove mental and emotional obstacles, and allow for deeper insight.
NOTE: Avoid direct sunlight or UV rays for up to 12 hours after applying product.

  4. Gratitude: Wherever we are in life, coming from a space of gratitude is what will move us forward. Being thankful for all the events, even the difficult times in life, moves us forward with trust and love. Gratitude helps us foster a grateful attitude and embrace the blessings in your life. The New Testament tells us that on one occasion, Christ healed 10 lepers (Luke 17:12-19), but only one returned to express thanks. I like to apply Gratitude, before prayer, behind my ears, on my heart and on my temples.

  5. Ylang Ylang: (pronounced e-lang e-lang) Also known as the “flower of flowers”, Ylang Ylang has been used to cover the beds of newlywed couples on their wedding night. This oil is great for balancing male and female energies. A wonderful oil for filtering out negative energy, increasing focus of thoughts and restoring confidence and peace. Add Ylang-Ylang oil to a handful of Epsom salts and place in a warm bath to create a relaxing, spa-like experience.

  6. Rose: Once in a loving relationship, applying Rose oil to the hearts of the couple and embracing for five minutes can help bring a couple together emotionally and energetically. Also adding Rose oil to a healthy chocolate recipe can help to connect two people in the space of love. One recipe is Chocolate Torte with Chocolate Rose Glaze on page 52.
There were so many oils I could have chosen, but this is my top five oils for love. What is your favourite oil for love?
